Prosthesis

1. With tears in my eyes and with a lot of pain in my heart I saw my son being born without his leg, I didn’t have hope that my son will ever be walking, was the words of Fileberto Lem, who lives in one of the remote communities of San Cristóbal Verapaz Guatemala. Today, two years after being born, my son Abraham Jom Moran can now walk, thanks to God and the good-hearted people who came from other countries to bless the people of Guatemala.
In August 2023 One World Unity Project visited Guatemala supporting many people with leg prostheses, and one of the beneficiaries was Abraham, who 8 months after having his prosthesis fitted, can now walk and move from one place to another.

Mission Group 1 from Rolling Meadows Church of God

We had the great privilege to be with our brothers and sisters of the Rolling Meadows Church Of God, together we installed improved stoves and water filters, visited the elderly and widows, and also shared the love of God with the children at Santa Rosa Community. The families of this community expressed their excitement and gratitude to the group of volunteers who have blessed them with this wonderful project, which will, undoubtedly, improve their lives.

Mission Group 2 from Rolling Meadows Church of God

We thank God for the lives of each of our brothers and sisters who lovingly installed improved stoves, water purifiers, and delivered bags of food to widows and the elderly. This group also visited three different educational establishments to share the love of God through games, songs, and activities. This is such an important part of these kid’s academic preparation.
