Stove Program
At the beginning of December, thanks to the support of One World Unity Project INC, 10 stoves and 10 water purifiers were delivered to the families of the Medical Center workers in gratitude for their effort and dedication. Two weeks later, the installation of the stoves was coordinated where it was possible to benefit people from the communities of San Cristóbal and Santa Cruz Verapaz.
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10)
Senior Program
In the elderly program, we also enjoyed a beautiful day with the elderly with a chicken soup lunch, Christmas baskets, gifts, dynamics, and songs; we all laughed out loud and enjoyed every moment. “How good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in peace!” (Psalms 133:1)
Vacation Bible School
During the month of December, we also had the privilege of carrying out the last Vacation Bible School of the year in Chicushab community. It was a very joyful day we sang, played games and above all, shared the Word of God with the children. Eighty gifts were given to the children. We are very grateful to God for the blessings He has given all of us.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (Matthew 19:14)
Luncheon for our workers at the Medical Center
And we end the year celebrating with the masons who have been working on the construction of the Medical Center. We carry out different activities, some games, and also delivered a Christmas basket to each one of them so that they can share with their family.
